When I was in grade 9 my grandpa gave me my first camera. I started taking it with me everywhere I went and took pictures of anything I could. I spent a lot of time with my grandpa and one thing that we would always do was sit on his porch and watch the birds. I knew the basics like the robin, bluejay and chickadee but the first bird that he taught me was the red winged blackbird. Every time I saw one I thought of my grandpa. Having my brand be named after something that reminds me of him, never lets me forget who got me started and taught me everything I needed to know as a beginner.
